Health and Safety

Safety is our priority at Fuzzy Feet Boarding and Grooming, for the health and safety of your pets we require the following.

  • Proof of current vaccinations including distemper/parvo and rabies (every year or three years depending on the vaccinations your veterinarian administers) and a Bordetella.
  • Puppies must be over the age of 16 weeks and have had their puppy boosters. We require 3 distemper/parvo boosters, a current rabies vaccine and Bordetella.
  • Dogs undergoing Heartworm treatment are not permitted for any services.
  • Non-spayed females that are in Heat or pregnant females are not permitted for any services.
  • Our facility is a flea-free environment. If a dog has fleas or other external parasites additional charges will apply.
  • We do not accept dogs that have diabetes and require insulin injections. We recommend boarding with veterinary care.
  • We do not accept dogs that are currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment. We recommend boarding with veterinary care.
  • In the event that your dog does not receive the distemper/parvo or rabies vaccinations (for health reasons/immunity), a “titer test” will need to be performed by your veterinarian. There is no “titer test” for the Bordetella, and will need to administer as required. A copy of the “titer test” results is required before coming in for any services.

Check-in/Check-out

  • Check-in and check-out times are Monday – Friday: 7am – 7pm; Saturday – Sunday: 8am – 6pm.
  • A $1 per hour charge will be applied for pick-ups that are 6 hours past the drop off time.
  • Prior arrangements must be made in advance when check-in and check-out is outside the normal operation.

Pet Shuttle:

  • Pick-up contingent on availability.
  • Please make reservation a minimum of 24 hours in advance.
  • Maximum weight = 100 lbs.
  • Must have all vaccinations submitted to Fuzzy Feet in advance of pick-up (Distemper, Parvovirus, Rabies annually & Bordetella)

Holidays:

  • We require a minimum of a 2-night stay during holidays.
  • During holiday time periods we require notification of cancellation 48 hours prior to your reservation. One night’s stay will be charged if notification is not received within this time frame.
  • We close at 6pm on Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Dog Belongings:
Items recommended for overnight boarding:

  • Properly leashed.
  • Food
  • Treats, if desired.
  • Medication if needed; please know dosage, frequency, and medication name
  • Toys, if desired. Please limit to two toys and we are not responsible for lost or damaged toys.
  • Bedding/blankets

Boarding Rates

  • Small Kennel
  • $16.00 per day
  • Medium Kennel
  • $20.00 per day
  • Large Kennel
  • $30.00 per day
  • We do allow multiple dogs in a run and please be sure to ask our multiple dogs in run rate.
  • Rates are based on consecutive nights
  • A $1 per hour charge will be applied for pick-ups that are 6 hours past the drop off time.
  • Ask about our senior discount

Grooming Rates

  • Grooming starts at $35 but it depends on breed, condition of coat, and type of cut.
  • This includes bath, blown dried, nails trimmed, expression, and cut
    $20 – Bath only
  • This includes bath, blown dried, expression, nails trimmed, and sanitary trim.
  • $10 – Nail trim
  • $10 – Anal expression
  • $15 – De-skunking (Additional fee may apply depending on how much shampoo is required)
  • $15 – Flea and Tick control (Additional fee may apply depending on how much shampoo is required)
